In July 2019, new manufactured home shipments increased 5.6% to 7,131 homes as compared to the 6,751 homes shipped in July 2018. Total shipments for July 2019 were 634 less than the prior month of June.
Compared with July 2018, shipments of single-section homes are up by 8.9% and multi-section homes are up by 3.1%. Total floors shipped in July 2019 increased 4.8% to 11,118 compared to July 2018.

Of the 7,131 homes shipped in July, there were no homes designated as FEMA units shipped which is the same as July 2018.

The seasonally adjusted annual rate (SAAR) of shipments was 97,333 in July 2019, up 4.3% from the adjusted rate of 93,337 in June 2019. The SAAR corrects for normal seasonal variations and projects annual shipments based on the current monthly total.

In July, 136 plants representing 34 corporations reported production data which is the same as June 2019.
