As you saw in our last Newsletter, we are learning several tips and best practices for requesting a footer location inspection. As a reminder,
  • DHBC inspectors can no longer receive payment at the time of the inspection. This must be done in advance.
    • KMHI recommends sending in a check at the same time that you submit the footer design (at least five days prior).
    • Another option is once you send in the footer design, calling Shawnna at 502.573.1795 to pay with a card over the phone. 
  • There are two required points of communications prior to the initial inspection
    • 1. At least five (5) business days prior to your desired inspection, the footer design should be submitted for review. For your convenience, DHBC has created a form to accompany the design. This should be sent via email to MFH@KY.GOV

  • 2. At least one (1) business day(s) prior to your desired inspection, the inspection needs to be requested. This should be done by an email to MFH@KY.GOV requesting the inspection.
